Neckerchief Policy

Troop 154 will provide for each scout joining the Troop a neckerchief. Troop 154 will have two approved neckerchiefs:

• 1. generic black with red embroidery standard BSA issue

  2. custom gold neckerchief with Goldens Bridge Fire Department logo

All new scouts below the rank of 1st class will wear the generic neckerchief. All scouts earning 1st class will be allowed to wear the Troop Gold neckerchief.

This policy was put in place to, first, encourage the rank advancement of the younger scouts and two, to defer the cost to the Troop of the custom neckerchief to the scouts with a higher level of commitment to Boy Scouting.
